  1. Attack on Titan I’d prefer to watch dubbed, but subbed has waaaaaay better acting. Not all anime is like this but sadly my favorite one is

    • He gets better later in the series just wait. Plus, the dub does kinda make him sound a bit more whiny than in the sub (nothing against the dub,, I like both versions). Also if you’re talking about when he was crying after Hannes died, isn’t his ‘whiny-ness’ justified? He just witnessed a father-like figure get eaten right in front of him while not having the power to prevent it.

      • I mean when he wouldn’t stfu when the armored titan was trying to explain something he lets his emotion get the best of him. He’s just like Naruto thinking he can save everyone.

        • But unlike Naruto this is shown to be an actual flaw. In the first two seasons his overconfidence gets almost his entire first squad killed, gives Annie the chance to capture him (although this one is a bit understandable), and finally allows Annie to escape. This season none of the stuff that happened was actually his fault – he still thinks it is, but you know, progress – and apparently he does mature with time, like Ally said. It’s a deliberate deconstruction of the ONLY I CAN SAVE EVERYONE!!!111!1!1 trope.

…I agree, though, he does get annoying. Still is kinda funny, though.
“Easy. There’s no need for us to get all violent. It’s not like I can resist like this. I mean… take a look at me! Just… calm down, okay?

      • Levi is god tho. Btw why do you think that other captain was laughing when they said that titans are humans and they’ve been killing people. I think that he enjoys killing humans and he some kind of serial killer. What do you think?

    • It’s Eren, *whiney, an he isn’t that whiney in the english sub, anyway he’s badass so it’s ok.
I see where your coming from, the voice actor voices Kirito in sao.

  2. I don’t know why but the ending made me think of Eren’s father and I can’t recall what happened to him but he did leave on the day of the attack. He also injected Eren with whatever changed him and now we’re seeing more humans become titans. Except Eren’s dad didn’t have blonde hair. Ah well, have to wait for season 3 now.

    • In my opinion the last 2 episodes of season 2 is one of the most epic battles in all of anime history, which more than makes up for it being shitty in the beginning. But yeah other than that season 1 still tops 2 no doubt.

  3. It feels like they raise more questions this season than they answer.
At the end of season 1 they all remembered the key to the basement. They didn’t talk about that at all in s2 and they didn’t even go into anything about the wall titans. Whatever the hell they are.

    • nah.. i thought about that for a sec… but he’s like the others that came from out of the walls….. at his first or second sight when he grabbed tha gear wondering what it is how does it work , amazed that “humans” got this far advanced… or something so yeah … his dad lived in the city he knew everything no point to be amazed of anything… i was hoping human-titans were engineered in secret by humans to face off the regular ones and the attacks were some political shit but this goes on another path it seems… from the trailer with those beasts… hmm who knows looked like the beasts are behind this they are like some gods.. manipulating humans and shit giving them powers? or maybe they are just the first humans that been transformed.. the original ones …… we will see

  4. Betting all my money on that the person who was supposedly supposed to be shrouded in mystery from the light behind him, making his shadow make him look like a black figure is Eren’s father from episode 1 season 1.
